If you’re looking for a special gift, appreciate fine art, or are artsy and crafty yourself, mark your calendar for October 10-11 when artists and crafters converge in Mesquite to show off their skills and talents at the Greater Mesquite Festival of the Arts. There will be plenty of treasures to admire from watercolor and mixed medium to cloth dolls and ceramic eggs. Not to mention wood projects such as sculptures from Ponderosa Pine knots and walking canes carved in Aspen wood. Enjoy live entertainment, good food and drink, and of course, artist demonstrations, fine arts enclave, and crafter’s corner.
