Boulder City Downtown: Signs like this one dot the downtown Boulder City area showing visitors what’s in their immediate area. Photo by Ryan Jerz.Downtown Boulder City becomes festival city each year as the annual Boulder City Fine Arts Festival takes over.
The April 18 and 19 festival fills the downtown park with tents featuring fine local artists, great food, and overall fun while inviting the public to take part. Admission is free.
Boulder City is a great location for such an event, and the day or two spent at the festival can mean a ton more fun along the way. Just a few miles south is Hoover Dam, and the rest of Boulder City is filled with historic buildings.
As for the art aspect of making this trip, there aren’t many towns that have embraced public art quite like Boulder City. Scattered throughout the downtown area are sculptures depicting the town’s history. Take a look at our videos of Boulder City for a few ideas on what to check out while you’re there.
