The players of the Utah Shakespearean Festival will grace the historic stage of the elegant Eureka Opera House this March for a special performance of Taming of the Shrew.

The Festival has become an annual event in Eureka, enlivening the stage with a unique interpretation of Shakespeare’s plays. Built in 1880 and recently restored, the Eureka Opera House’s original chandelier, hand-painted curtain, wood floors and horseshoe balcony – one of only three horseshoe-shaped balconies in Nevada – have been preserved for your pleasure.
The special one-night-only performance of Taming of the Shrew is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and free for children 15 and under with a paying adult.
