Dalton, Sourdough Slim, David John and the Comstock Cowboys, Dave Stamey, Larry Maurice, Richard Elloyan, Dennis Golden, Tom Weatherby, and Old West Trio, just to name a few of the headliners. Show up hungry because there will be a special meal planned for each day. Enjoy a hearty cowboy dinner Thursday night with roast beef, mashed potatoes, green salad, Basque beans, and dessert on the menu. The local Basque club will also be serving traditional Basque cooking for Friday night’s dinner. And Saturday evening is all about the “rib stickin” beef stew. Each dinner is $20 per person. Sunday morning, enjoy a pancake breakfast with pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice and coffee for just $5.

There’s a wagon full of fun planned for the festival. Stroll through the art galleries featuring Western artists, gear and gifts. Attend any of the 80 Western workshops and demonstrations such as Dutch oven cooking, leather tooling and saddle making. See McAvoy Layne as Mark Twain, Michael Curcio as Wyatt Earp, Chris Bayer as Major Ormsby, and Don Thompson as Snowshoe Thompson. Immerse yourself in Western culture in one of Nevada’s oldest settlements.

Tickets can be purchased online at genoacowboyfestival.com or by calling the Carson Valley Arts Council at (775) 782-8207 or the Town of Genoa at (775) 782-8696.
