Carson City’s Kit Carson Trail is the place to be for the annual Ghost Walk on Saturday May 23, 2009. This guided tour of Carson City’s historic district—a 90-minute guided candlelight walking tour—begins at 6pm. You can hear the unusual tales of the spirits who settled the wild wild west and still roam through the streets and houses of the historic west side. The Ghost Walk features 11 stops, highlighted with ghost stories and tales of the Old West. The tour will be led by professional, costumed actors and begins at the Former St. Charles Hotel, now the Firkin & Fox Pub, 310 S. Carson St.
Cost: $15 when purchased in advance at the Carson City Visitors Center, 1900 S. Carson St. (map) or $20 if purchased at the time of the tour.
