The picture above is out the window of the Travel Nevada offices in Carson City at about 9:30 am on December 15. Carson City is just a few miles from gorgeous Lake Tahoe, the home to the bulk of Nevada’s ski resorts.
The snow we’re getting right now is the first major storm of the season, and is dropping enough in Lake Tahoe to set up this weekend as a great time for skiing. The weather forecast for Lake Tahoe is looking good for the upcoming weekend, with snow stopping on Thursday or Friday, making Saturday and Sunday the perfect time to make the trip and ski through the weekend.
