Family fun awaits in Lincoln County this September as part of National Public Lands Day on September 27. Pack up the kids and haul your toys to Pioche for all the excitement. A variety of events are planned including ATV rides into wooded areas along old roads, hiking in the Bristol Range and the Wilson Creek Range, Jeep/4×4 rides into the mountains along the eastern boundary of the state, and equestrian trail rides and mountain bike rides in the canyons just southeast of Pioche. Bring your own gear and equipment and plan to have a great time exploring beautiful Lincoln County. As an event participant, you’ll also get an event T-shirt and Dutch oven dinner as part of the nominal $25 registration fee. But if you want to just work on the trail project, it’s free.
