The tradition comes from China, where lovers place a lock upon an “endless chain” along the Great Wall in the Yellow Mountains and has fast taken hold in Lovelock, where couples have even begun planning their weddings around the ceremony.

The location is easily accessible and fully supported by area businesses, who even sell commemorative locks to make sure you’ve got yourself a way to lock in your love.
