When it comes to New Year’s Eve celebrations, Nevada does it right. With plenty of big parties, A-list entertainers and fireworks shows, this is one night you won’t soon forget.
Everyone knows that Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World so it comes as no surprise that the nightclubs of Vegas will be rockin’ with celebrities. Revelers will be blown away at New Year’s Eve parties hosted by 50 Cent at PURE, Christina Aguilera at Tao, Shwayze at Christian Audigier and The Black Eyed Peas at LAX, just to name a few of the stars that will be glimmering in the clubs along the Strip.
The parties in the north aren’t too shabby either. Downtown Reno will ring in the New Year with a spectacular fireworks show filled with mesmerizing special effects. The casino-resorts are hosting several parties featuring live entertainment, giveaways and party favors. Dance the night away in Sammy’s Showroom at Harrah’s featuring Patton Leatha or throw your hands in the air to the tunes of DJ Red Rum at the Aura Ultra Lounge at the Silver Legacy. Take a trip back to the 70s at a concert by Adbacadabra in the Eldorado Showroom. There will be plenty of fun parties to keep you entertained all night long!
At the lake, you bet there will be après ski fun. Toast the New Year at Lake Tahoe’s biggest party on north shore at Squaw Valley’s Olympic House. Enjoy live music, fire dancers and a fireworks show at Northstar. And, of course, you won’t want to miss the Blue Year’s Eve celebrations in Stateline. Revelers are invited to step out onto Blue Avenue, the epicenter of the best nightlife, nightclubs, gaming, dining, shopping and entertainment south shore has to offer, including the “Midnight Blue” multi-venue party at MontBleu.
