His book, “Pandemic” (2007), gives an historical overview of viral infections, the bubonic plague, 1918 pandemic and survival strategies for the avian flu.
Ride the Rails with Santa

For two days only, the Santa Train will be chugging along the tracks at the museum from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rides are only $2.00 per seat.

Nevada Day Salutes Lincoln

This year’s parade theme tips a hat to President Abraham Lincoln, who granted Nevada its statehood. Lincoln was born in 1809, so this year marks the 200th anniversary of his birth.
